Tiger

The tiger (Panthera tigris) is one of the most revered and endangered big cats in the world. Known for its iconic orange coat with black stripes, the tiger is a solitary predator that roams the forests and grasslands of Asia. With its keen senses, stealth, and incredible strength, the tiger is a master hunter, preying on large herbivores such as deer and wild boar.

Each tiger has a unique stripe pattern, which acts as camouflage in dense vegetation. Tigers are territorial animals, marking their ranges with scent and scratches to ward off intruders. However, their habitats are rapidly shrinking due to deforestation and human expansion, making conservation efforts essential. Despite being apex predators, tigers are vulnerable to poaching and habitat destruction, with fewer than 4,000 individuals remaining in the wild today.
